Hello all

Does anyone have any tips on lubricating the control arm on the heater matrix? (S2)
My knob keeps seizing up in the winter (ooh er!) - serously though - i have tried silicone grease and WD40 on control arm but it only seems to work for a month or so before sticking again. Any thoughts anyone?

I used 3 in 1 spray oil on mine ...and some spray grease ...only because that was what was handy after doing my Nitron adjusters too ...worked well, and did it maybe 2-3x per year

I used WD40, and lots of it. Squirt it on, let it penetrate for a few hours, go back to it, squirt more on it, then get your arm in there and move it back and forth a lot. Also have someone in the car actually moving the knob as well.

Mine still seizes if you move it too far to the cold setting, hence I dont put it past about 11 0 clock on the knob!
