I got back the other day and seemed to have no fluid in my window squirty's, thought I'd run out so filled up yesterday, only used once and now empty again, think I must have a leak somewhere!! Not done any hunting yet but anyone got any clues?

On the S1 I had this problem but all it came down to was the sprayer electrical unit had been dislodged, probably as I re-newed the battery.

Lift the water bottle up, and push the unit back in, up, whatever you need to make it sit tightly. ( It's the black thing at the bottom, wires going into it )

This worked on the S1, so you may find it is all you need to do, too thumbup

...and if it's not that, follow the lines from the pump at the bottom of the bottle, up towards the nozzles. You'll probably have to remove both service hatches, and in doing so you'll find a "Y" shaped connetor where the line splits to go from one into two. Often one of the two comes apart and then the pump just dumps water into the front service compartment - it empties pretty quickly when it's not being forced through those nozzles! Can be a bit fiddly to put back on, but usually only a 5min job.

This happened to mine, failed an MOT on no water in the washer bottle; I asked them to fill it up, to which they replied they did, but it just gave the worshop floor a good wash hehe. PITA job to do as it's so fiddly, but an easy enough fix.

bit different on an S2 as they are located in the engine bay and run through the car to the front. Is it dribbling out the squirter? it might have a knackered pump and thats causing it to gravity drain out.Its a bh to get the tank out the bay( I tried and failed) with the VVC engine,as my can had a stench and found the water had stagnated and jellified,so had to lie it on its side and just run a hose through it.
