Just after a bit of advice over a christmas present for my brother who runs an Elise S1.
I'm keen to find him a decent, ideally waterproof car cover for his Elise.
Where's a good place to get them and how much will I be paying? Has anyone got one they'd like to sell me?
Come to think of it if anyone has any idea for a present for a man with a newly aquired Elise that would be great!

thanks for any suggestions guys.

How about some nice polish, some microfibre cloths, and a good sponge.

I would buy Colinite Marque d'elegance polish; £22
840 Sapphire Prewax Cleaner £9
Microfibre cloths from Dunelm Mills or homecare shop.

You can buy it here: http://www.shipshapenorfolkltd.co.uk/ect/products....

I use this stuff but have no connection in selling the product.

Maybe a shower cape will be more useful than a full cover, cheaper too!

I have one on order from here. They are proper tailored - i.e. exactly for the car they are going on, breathable (important) and waterproof. Noah. But £250. You pay your money....

I've got one of their Exige S2 outdoor covers, superbly made, fits well, is totally waterproof AND breathable.

I've got one made by Covercraft and it's superb, basically it stops the moisture getting in but allows the moisture if any to escape from beneath it,bit like a giant Gortex coat for your car.I purchased it through Hangar 111,it cost about £200 and it's been worth every penny.Considering I have'nt got a garage it's the next best thing,I would definatley recommend.

I had one for the Elise and I still have the Vantage outside under one now ...my other half got a Noah one for her Sag with the car and its not as good IMO ...not as well fitted, elastic not so good, material thinner, blows off regularly frown

...specialised only for me smile
