Leaking Roof Issue Sorted
Discussion
Posted a while back when I was having problems with a leaking roof on my 2003 S2, since then have had the new windos seals which appear on the later cars retro fitted and car is now dry as a bone whatever the weather. The new seals have cups on either side which filter water out of the cabin and can't recommend them highly enough...Was about £120 all in and money well spent, no fretting now whenever a grey cloud appears,
Cheers,
Fozzy

Glad you got it sorted.Cheers,

My '02 Elise leaked like a sieve in just the same place. The number of people who say the S2 never, ever leaks just because theirs doesn't always cracks me up; it is of course why Lotus (who never do anything unless they have to) produced the mod that you fitted.

What seals are these, my S2 leaks in from somewhere around the top, front edge of the drivers window, drips onto the sill then splashes onto the seat, resembled a bath after a particularly large storm at Spa last summer
yeah exactly the issue I was having, dripping down onto the sills and onto seats...Anyway heres the part number, well worth having it fitted.Part No.: A116V0273F

Here's the thread where Fozzy originally asked the question, for anyone who's interested:
