full lock turning?

not so much scraping noise, but certainly bumpyness which I believe is quite common and is just down to the tyres skipping as you turn.
If you've got a scraping noise you could have a mullered CV joint or tyre rubbing on some trim, or something completely different
What car, how fast are you going when it happens, forwards or backwards?

When you say scraping noise, do you mean scrubbing, i.e. the tyre scrubbing across the surface?
If so, it could be due to the ackerman angle, the inner wheel is turning on a smaller radius than the outer wheel. Ackerman is never set to be perfect so one or both wheels will scrub across the road surface as they are forced to take a different radius to the one they are pointing.

That is very geeky! If so, it could be due to the ackerman angle, the inner wheel is turning on a smaller radius than the outer wheel. But most informative of course! Tis what one comes to expect around these parts I s'pose!

If light scrubbing, no worries...
