Seriously, you could be missing out on the single biggest £ for £ improvement for the car....

I had mine done yesterday by Gugliemi's in Daventry and despite the initial reading showing that my car was no more than 1 degree out on any measurement, the car has been transformed.

I had more confidence driving home last night in slippery winter conditions than I've ever had before....even in the dry!

Steve then took me out in a 260bhp Audi S1 Elise. I want one.

I need to get mine done since fitting new suspension last weekend.

It cost me £140.

ETA: The £140 was a fixed price and made a lot more difference to the handling of the car than the switch to S2 suspension.

Seldom answers emails.

I have had geo on previous Elises and Exiges done at Driversin Glasgow city centre as it is handy for me, and at Kenny Browns in Hillington.

A lot of people use Hypertech in Bonnybridge as well for elise work.

I have not used Hypertech, only the other two I mentioned.

Where do you stay? If its not too far from Edinburgh, this is the garage that Murrays use for their tyrefitting and Elise work - http://www.touchedinburgh.com/business/list/bid/26...

They are round the corner from the dealer.

Join up on www.scottishelises.com I think you have been spotted in Glasgow a couple of times!

Drivers do all sorts of stuff. They work on a lot of high end cars worth way more than our exiges believe me.

Go in and have a chat with the guys. Last time my car was in they let me check the measurements before and explained how it all works.

One degree of toe on a 16" rim is 6.6mm - consider that the rear end of your elise shouldn't have more than 2.5mm overall and you soon realise why it makes such a difference!

Did I mention that I do geo's smile anyone in the midlands fancy a cheaper alternative to the usual suspects gimme a shout wink

Hi vxc, any chance do you stay round Pollokshields? Used to live that way myself and there was a black Exige that used to be just round the corner from me. Always used to sound great!

Are you in shawland/queens park area, think ive seen your car a few times.

A friend from uni works in drivers and I know they have worked on a few elises, shouldn't be any trouble for them to do the geo and any other suspension work.

Excuse my ignorance, but is geo the same as wheel alingment?

Agree it's important, but dont get overconfident now. It's so easy to go to far, especially in the wet.

CLCM at Sighthill in Edinburgh are highly thought of.
