I'm sure he'll have a better understanding when he's old enough to drive.

The power of the internet, there was a time when such insightful reviews were unavailable to the car buyer.

If it wasn't for the fact I'm struggling to get into my exige over the 'wall' so that I can take it down to Lotus to sort out the revs and reliability I'd drive over to his gaff and burn his face off with the my larini! Check your facts out kid before preaching to people who actually drive!

Perhaps we could send Gooby across to ave a chat with him.

Reliability a problem? Pah my engine did a whole 23,000 miles before it needed an entire rebuild and the entire thing rusted away to fook, if that's not reliable, I don't know what is!

Well that's solved it for me, i couldn't decide between an Exige and a Mustang, now i know.

Go for the exige but if it goes brrrm brm brrrm brm, it's a little bit broken, but it's an A+ on cool.

Surely you'd just buy both of them mate? paperbag

Anyway you must have seen that thread on SELOC with the dyno plot of the supercharged 2.2 vauxhall engine - big torque and power all the way through the rev range - keep your VX and get the engine upgraded. It'll be so much faster than my Exige. The Exige is heavier than my old VXT and hasn't got the torque - I'm going to go for the Ronin / Gotham injector and ECU upgrade but I can't see ever getting 250 lb ft torque out of the little Toyota lump frown

Errr. bit off topic there.

I haven't seen that plot, but i think that's just sealed the deal, it may not be as cool looking as an exige, but i'll quite enjoy thrashing them on a trackday rofl

As for buying a 'stang and an exige, i'd rather have a crappy old grandad estate with a v8 over a 'stang.

But in all reality, i'm really holding back from buying a Dodge Challenger as they are the epitome of cool.

Yeah I was well impressed! Being a VHPD I was expecting about 'alf that smile

Bloody thing, at least now I'm rebuilding it properly the way it always should have been.... mind you I can see why they didn't, doing so ain't cheap!
