As a former 111R owner I know the joys of an Elise on a day like today, crisp clear air, blue skys, dry roads and empty roads.
Yesterday I test drove a friends Elise SC and couple that with todays weather has made me down in the dumps.
The SC was fantastic, power delivery was smooth and brutally fast (may not be as fast as I think compared to the 111R but it has been 8 months since I have driven one). I was waiting with anticipation for the second cam even though I knew it was not coming but by the time 6,200 rolled round I was not bothered, the SC pulled well. Couple that with the great level of refinement internally (without distracting from the scarce interior that I love so much) and I was sold.
You owners are lucky people. Enjoy your fantastic motors. I hope to get involved again before long (S1 160, 111R, SC, Exige S...who knows)
