Hi I'm new here and am thinking of buying the above car - its an S2 111R in yellow with black wheels and (very nice) colour coded trim. Its also got a Pipercross Air Filter mod. It has Lipscombe plates but has been at a dealer in Amersham for several months. Apparently it used to be owned by a Pistonhead so if anyone can tell me anything about it I'd be very grateful, especially if theres any history or reason I shouldn't buy it!
Cheers
Russ

Its been there close to a year I think - next to the Orange ex Demo also still for sale. I actually drove the orange one a year ago but had to sell my old TVR before I could think about something else -which took a while! They are both several thousand down on the original prices so are I think competative.

Been there for 18 months I would say.

Merritts are no longer a Lotus dealer, and I would very surprised if they have any movement left on the price as the car has been in stock for so long.

It was a Ph'ers car previously though.

Yep,

That's my old Car, we traded in at Lipscomb Lotus in Kent who passed it onto them, we treated that car like a baby and spent thousands of pounds on it. That car was the best Elise I ever owned up and till yesterday when I picked up our new Elise SC it was fantastic

Check my profile out under Car's and look for an 55 R

U2U Me if you're serious about buying and I can tell you exactly what I did etc

Nice car that, and almost trackday ready with the braided hoses. I can attest to that car being an utter GJOB... despite my repeated abuse Boggy never took it on track!

I can attest to having seen it pirouetting at a carlimits activity day though. Lovely spec and no doubt a steal now if you can drive a hard bargain!

Jesus wept - at £17,750 I'm amazed you didn't get back in there Boggy. You could have had that for £16k with some hard bargaining and almost got your depreciation cash back!!!
