TRD High Flow air box

Hi guys has anyone fitted a TRD high flow airbox to their SC lotus? is it worth it?

theres a few owners on SELOC who have done so ...its the same as any other airbox - you get a bit more of a growling noise under acceleration, a bit more supercharger whine coming through and a couple of bhp ...its up to you whether those "benefits" are worth £xxxx

I have one on my 240R; significant increase in noise esp supercharger whine when exercising right foot.
I would not however recommend it if you want to fit yourself. Took my guy 3 hrs to fit, and if you search seloc you will find others who report this is not a 'like for like' simple changeover job. Sealant needed, generally ill-fitting, needs wheelarch liner out, scratched arms and a lot of swearing.....
