Wondering if anyone has heard of these guys? I've got my car up for sale and have had an email from them (they are quite local) along the lines of sale or return for my car with a price above normal trade. They would collect/store/insure/advertise etc. Sounds a bit scammy/too good be true, but wondering if anyone had had dealings with them. They would appear to specialize in TVR so I'll cross post on there. Not much interest yet, didn't think I was outrageously overpriced but any advert input appreciated. TIA.

ETA of course now just done a search and realised I am a DPM, quite a recent thread too,
Anyway, a feel on pricing still appreciated if anyone has input. Cheers.

Those are the guys near Wetherby, Thorpe Arch? I have seen loads of adverts but not visited there place.
You may also want to pass the message on to Clive at Track torque as he may know people looking for a lotus.
Also Drive style horseless carriages in Harrogate will do a similar thing, they take a cut of the sale price if I remember right. I asked a few garages around Harrogate about selling my car, but fortunately sold it privately so did not follow any of them up in much detail.

in the current economic climate, i would be very wary of giving my car to any dealer on a sale or return basis.
if they sell the car and then go bust between taking the payment and sending you the sale proceeds, you may be left high and dry in a long line of creditors.
There was a pistonheads thread on this very recently.
