Daisy update -
The operation is a success but she has to stay in the vets for observation over night. The house feels empty, her brother Dooley is mopeing around and so am I.
I cant stand the thought of her in pain and alone in some vets cage (welling up).
I just miss her...

She has been my puppy since I helped her into this world!

She is home!
She spent her time at the vets trying to escape and had a lot of success! The vet is about half a mile away and she got half way home on one attempt!
Her main tactic was to break the catch on her cage and sneak out the door behind the counter. She would then sneak around the counter and wait for someone to leave then out the double doors. After the 3rd attempt they got wise and made that difficult so she went through 3 doors and out the back door.
Her last attempt - I think she had had enough - with her leg bandaged up and stitches all over the place she went OVER the counter, almost decked some old dear with a cat and made it to the second front door before she was caught by a perplexed vet....
She is just brilliant, I am so proud.
The vet has asked that we keep her quiet for 3 months. My wife asked her how seeing as they couldnt even keep her in a facility designed for stopping escaping animals? They are scratching thier head over that one.
She is back, we have had cuddles, lots of food and some pain killers and now she is snoozing on the sofa.
