Looking to do an oil change in an 07 Exige S what is considered the best oil to be using ?

Mobil 1 5w-40 is probably the most common.

I got Mobil 1 0w-40 in mine at the moment and its much smoother than the other stuff. Fuel economy seems improved as well.

Overhere, Castrol 10w60 is recommended... but you seem to be recommended differently in the UK.. <shrugs>

Use Motul 8100 X-cess 5W-40 here, but that's in an R.

There's plenty of quality oil out there, so I think it's a bit of a personal preference thing. I've always used Silkolene Pro R 15-50 Race with no problems. Main thing to remember with oil - money should NOT be a consideration !

I'll be using Silkolene Pro 5W-40
