Hi all

back tyres on my Elise sc are down to the limits, they are the standard tyres , Ive phoned my local suppliers and im struggling to get them? any suggestions for online suppliers and prices ?

Ive never come across these tyres before and Ive always run 888 toyos/ao48s or Kumho v70s on my track cars and wondering if anyone has changed to any of these and any comments if so ?

thanks in advance.

Not sure what the supension set up is on the SC, but I have been advised by a Lotus Bod that 888/A048's on touring suspension is not advised. But not sure what your set up is.

And yes AD07's - Are only available through Lotus or can try Hanger 111 online. But all around the same price.

Hope that helps a bit

Personally I'd just replace the rears with what was on it.

All the tyre you'll ever need for road use and odd track days.

You can put non LTS Advans on it or Toyo T1-R's (only £300 a set of 4).

I have the Toyos on my Exige S and they are fine for road use.

I better order some then too! Few weeks! Maybe shop around some more dealers.

I payed about that fitted last year

Really good tyre too to be honest - With the touring pack I would stick to AD07's. Fantastic all round, I did a day at Spa on them last week all good, just got a bit hot because of the wrong pressures. See Seloc Techwiki for correct track pressures.
