not easy to get off once on, feels like they are about to snap in half..... just go gentle and they do come off.
How water tight are they? Am i going to get lots of condensation build up ... what are peoples experiences of these things? I think they look great on the overall finish!never had any probs removing them, just warm them up with a hair dryer. then use either strong fishing line or that flat plastic banding that get used for packaging to saw through the double sided tape, to make it easier spray any lube,wd40,fairy liquid etc while sawing to help jobs a good un
They're fairly easy to remove. Find the widest gap between car & cover and *carefully* prise cover up a little with a thin object - avoid screwdrivers as they are likely to rub against the paintwork and mark it. I used my LCI stainless steel membership card. Once you've stretched a small section of the glue just use your fingers to gently free the cover inch by inch.
There is no chance of the covers cracking if you take it slowly and keep pressure to the edges.
The glue should roll off both the cover and car otherwise Autoglym Bug & Tar remover works a treat.
As for replacing, it is trial and error. A good place to start is to put the adhesive tape in the middle of the outer black band. After my first attempt the lower section of one of my covers is misting up occasionally. Need to try again!
Good luck.
