I bought my daughters (4 and 6) their first Scalextric for Christmas complete with 2 'indestructable' Mini Coopers (then Mrs T and I get to play with the Porsche and Audi Le Mans cars). It took over the lounge until the end of Feb when Mrs T decided she wanted the room back and by then the kids had become suprisingly proficient.
I thought that Exige was made by Ninco?

true, it is made by Ninco, but I'm still stuck in the ways of describing slot racing as scalextric! If I'd posted Ninco, most people probably wouldn't know what they meant! I used to have a massive set up, but flogged it off as a job lot for a ridiculously low price, now all I have is a mini cooper set, plus an unused Audi Team Goh R8 and an unused Morgan Le Mans car. My son is only 17 months old, so I might have to wait a bit until I upgrade the track!

Apparently Ninco are a very good make and hold the track better than the regular Scalextric ones

P.S. My daughter is 4 and has been proficient with the subtleties of throttle control for over a year now.
