Well, what can I say...........what a truly brilliant machine!

Admittedly I was only passengering but boy what an impressive car with the initial impressions being -

Superb low speed tractability
Very well built indeed
Extremely comfortable
Awe inspiring grip and tenacity
Smooth, linear power delivery (car was not run in however, only covered 374 miles)
Lovely V6 engine note (quiet at low speed yet charismatic under load)

More to come later.................... biggrin

The press cars will be out there between 8th-15th May and then we get our demonstrator the week following that.

Our first car is Carbon Grey, Paprika leather and antracite wheels. Should look rather lovely lick

I will more than likely bring it along to the Lotus Festival at Snetterton.

Nice work Loon - make sure the pix go up as soon as they're in smile

As you'll know, I'm not in the market for a £45k+ car but I do really like the Evora and hope it does well.

Christ Tipper, really sorry to hear that frown

Keep your chin up chum, I have my fingers crossed it all works out for you smile

And yes, the white does look very good indeed. My second choice would be Starlight Black with Chestnut leather and anthracite wheels

Cheers mate. At least it'll gives me a bit more time to prep my car now (going Sprinting next monthbiggrin).
If the Evora has a modicum of room in the rear (ie I can hammer two kids into the space for short trips then it may well get onto my list whedn the time comes to replace the Elise (when I can't get in or out with a modicum of dignity!!). I'd been thinking Exige (easier entry/exit than an S1!) and another car but who knows.

Sounds great - what more can you ask for really? If I was in the market for a new sports car, I'd have to drive one

Tipper
I managed to squeeze in the back so I would say that you could get a couple of kids in the back for a shortish trip.
Good work on the Sprinting plans too, something I keep meaning to try my hand at but always seem to run out of time each year! banghead
