Linked to my 'Insurance' topic above...

Are extended warranties worth having on Elises?
Can you only get them from Lotus?
If not, who else? (looks like the AA on the FAQ's)
What sort of prices?

...as you might be able to tell, I'm close to buying my first car and just want to go into it with my eyes open!

I'm guessing there aren't many extended warranty fans on here then! smile

I have the AA break down/repair warranty cover. From memory 5 times a year up to £500 repair (£50) exess.
Reccomended by lots of Elise owners.

£65 per year.

As said from memory rolleyes

I got the lotus extended warranty - quite expensive but peace of mind for three years I guess...

I would probably still spend the money to get it again, as only would take a couple of problems for it to pay for itself...

I have an extended warranty from Lotus which is underwritten by TWG (The Warranty Group). They were helpful in the administration of changing over from the previous owner to me, but have thus far had no further dealings with them. Anyone had cause to claim? What are they like about mods?
