I can't find the thread from a few days ago, when some chap suggested his TC light was flashing on, despite him not having the TC button on next to his gear lever.

I thought little of it, but this morning I had the same in my Exige. Dropped down to 3rd for an uphill corner hit the gas and what I thought was the brake light (red and in the middle) started flashing for about a second or so.

Anynoe any ideas - is this TC or somethnig else. Brake pads were checked 300 miles ago and were said to have at least 2k in them

Sure it wasn't the oil warning light? Hard cornering will cause it to flicker if your oil is a bit low. Had this a lot on a walshy day biggrin

Yep, that's the brakes warning. Nothing to do with TC. I'd have a check of your brake fluid reservoir pronto if I were you.

Yup definitely the brake warning light - the TC light is a picture of an Elise with wiggly lines behind it. Check your brake fluid level yes

Just been to check and I realise I should know this, but where is the fluid reservoir on an Exige

Not the silliest question actually.

From memory (I stress) it's under the driver's side service panel on the front of the car - so 3 x torx bolts to undo to get to it.

i'm that chap smile

mine was def the tc light as I've had it on a few times this week.

its going into westovers next thursday for the roof seals to be done under warranty so will get them to look into it and find out if it has tc or not.

also, off topic, are the standard shocks yellow?
