Thought i'd share these 2 onboard videos from the Lotus Cup Europe which had its 2nd round this last weekend at Zandvoort. I was fortunate enough to have a guest drive in the S1 Elise that is to be used by Andy Green (Land Speed Record Holder) for an upcoming Elise Trophy race at Snetterton.

Lotus Cup Europe has been born out of the very succesful Elise Trophy series in the UK and has classes for Production, Exige Cup and 2-Eleven.

Next round of the Lotus Cup Europe is at Hockenheim on the 20/21 June.

Very poignant circuits for Lotus. Zandvoort with the late, great Jochen Rindt and of course Jim Clarke at Hockenheim.

Actually Jochen Rindt died at Monza, but Zandvoort was still a landmark circuit for Lotus as the Lotus 49 won it's first grand prix there, first time out.

Confusing Rindt' accident with that of with Piers Courage who was killed at Zandvoort in the same year.
