Good man. Let me be the first person to suggest you buy a Series 1 Exige and get a supercharged Honda conversion done on it (and then get flamed), or better yet, buy the one that's for sale. You will need a pilots license though - it's a rocket ship.

definately going to have to drive one before i give up the porsche...

Its a well sorted 911 to be fair, but always at the back of my mind, lighter, just feels better... **i think**

Like the difference between a proper trials bike, and a halfords sh*tter.

the supercharged one - i'm done with modding engines, several integrales taught me that lesson...

Just want a standard exige, will be an S1, dont care about being flamed, i have pink wheels on the 911 ffs smile now theres a look, black exige, pink wheels... hmmmmm

As long as it handles as good as the 911 (I am sure you all have opinions on that ;o)

Plus, they look awesome biggrin

Matt, I have just come out of years of Pork ownership:

944's
2 x 3.2 Carreras
993 Carrera 2
993 Turbo

Had my Elise SC for 2 weeks now. Its a complete revelation and breath of fresh air. I use my cars as weekend only toys, wouldn't have one if I had to use it for commuting but purely as a fun car it beats the 911's.

Oh and as for handling, unless you are in a 911 RS variant then the Elise has it easily matched there.

No regrets in the slightest in going 911 -> Elise
