Problem with Elise S

Hey all,

My Elise has developed a problem. When depressing the accelerator, the power comes on smoothly until a certain point in the pedal's travel. Beyond this point, the engine tone suddenly sounds very rough, and there is a slight reduction in delivered power.

Only noticed this on a short run last night, and it was fine for a good long blast on Saturday.

Car is 06 Elise S. It's actually due its MOT very soon, so I can have it checked out then, but I'd be very grateful for any suggestions as to what might be the problem.

Hey Nick,

Had a very simular problem a couple of months back and it was due to the spark plugs sitting in a small amount of water.

I know of another elise that suffered exactly the same so that would be my first port of call.
