Could a complete amateur fit a hurricane induction kit?
Discussion
Complete amateur = me, I know which end of my 111s the engine is in (neither!) but not a great deal more...
But I sort of would like to have a crack at it. Am I going to make a complete mess? I think I can get the car on axle stands, then Google seems to say that I'll need to take the wheel off and the wheel arch liner for starters... is that just the easy part though! If I messed it up or got stuck is it straightforward to put the original back on so I can take it to someone who knows what they're doing?
Thanks for the advice!

Some info on fitting another brand, but the principal is the same. You can always go to here or seloc if you get stuck.

I fitted one in about an hour and a half and I am mechanically a complete ar*e - the most difficult bit was getting the old airbox off as one of the hexagon nuts you need to get to is pretty well hidden. I seem to remeber the kit came with comprehensive instructions how to do it - and once on it sounds great - go for it, you know you want to........
