Agree with what he said.
I think clear lights look really washed out. I love the colour contrast the red/orange lights give and also love the dark smoked lights on lighter coloured cars can look good too but depends on car to pull this off well.
My sport had clear lights on all around. Against silver paint work just looked freakin terrible, first day in my hands they were swapped back to std new ones. So much better and nice contrast to the silver.

I'm not a fan of them either ...
As Kylie said, I prefer the contrast of the orange indicators against the silver paintwork of my S1. The only time I'd ever consider LED lights would be on a S2 Elise - I'd replace the rear bulbs with a ring of LED lights, but retain the red plastic covers - I think that particular mod looks good
