I am going to change the wheel on my S2, I have been looking at the one's available on the Elise Parts site.I have Momo steering wheels on my other 2 cars and have always liked them.Is it possible to go too small in size?. I am 6.2" so a little more room would be welcome - but would a smaller wheel affect the steering? i,e make it heavier or more twitchy?
Are there any other types/manufacturers I have overlooked - can anyone reccommend any? obviously the wheels are not cheap I would hate to buy one and make a mistake.

smaller is no big deal, lot's of people with big leggs have done this...

only think to remember with after market wheel is that the std one is dished quite heavily, so if you want the rim of the wheel-rim in the same place, you will need to space it back.

I've got a suede rimmed, flat bottomed Sparco on mine (with Snap-off adapter, all from Eliseparts), see my old posts (probably about 8-10 months ago) for more info and a photo or two. I love it. If you've currently got an OEM model note that you need an adapter kit of some sort to put an aftermarket wheel on.

Yee haa!

I've done the same thing - also 6'2" and the flat bottomed wheel works a treat. I used the opportunity to fit a removable boss at the same time for extra security.
