Smelly Elise

Hi guys, need a little help,

After a 15 minute ride in the Elise is starts to smell of fuel, I don’t find any leaks … if I drive it hard then the smell is worse… any ideas !

mine smelt of fuel when the inlet manifold was leaking. What engine is yours?

S1 K series.... its going in for some head work so then they should change the gasget ....

I was wondering how the tank vented ...

There is a pipe that comes off a non return valve that vents back into the fuel filler pipe. They always split or come off. Check this. They always make the car stink off petrol.
