im just wondering exactly how bad it was for simon to go to such lengths cleaning it ....it must be a recyled model from a tip somewhere LOL wink

Small amount, yes (rest is yellow stick from the adhesive).

just about every one I have stripped down has some, usually just below the fuel pipe access holes and/or the fuel filler side. This one is not at all bad compared to some.

Yeah looks about as bad as mine was... certainly it's one of those things that's worthwhile taking a look at if you're pulling the engine outta one!

LOL!

relatively, it's not that bad, you have to remember that they are getting old these days, this one is 11 years old now, Paid £6,500 for it (Cat C).

it's destined to be a race car and needs a full cage, replacement bulkhead (Ali) etc.

stopped taking bit's off it, now putting stuff back on it...
