New telephone directory listing mobile numbers to launch. Basically harvested from 3 different sources, all legit, but perhaps a little underhand.

You can remove yourself by logging onto the website

or texting "E" to 118800

Yep, already with TPS & they are very good at stoping unwanted calls although 1 did slip through the net the other day until i kindly told them that i would report them if they called my number again. They were very appologetic once they realized i was registered with TPS.

TPS are pretty good. I'm on the TPS, and my mobile number has been the same for decades and has also been on the TPS.

Of course, my mobile phone number is easy to find as it's the contact for my consulting company and so it's in multiple places on the internet, the mobile number is definitely *not* ex-directory!!!

So anyone can find me and call. But the TPS concept of 'no unsolicited marketing' really does work otherwise I'd be deluged with cold calls. I get quite a lot of stuff from recruiters trying to sell me contractors onto my projects but that's part of the game since I've used recruiters in the past myself. What I *don't* get is random sales guff etc.

TPS gets the thumbs up from me. Don't even need to hide, most of the telemarketers seem to abide by the loose regulations.

I've had a couple of internet pharmacies from the subcontinent call (presumably to go along with the thousands of junk emails!) but they weren't selling anything decent so I told them not to call in future smile

Anyway, this won't last long in the Lotus forum!
