The definitive answer is no.
The original limited batch of 50 cars in 2002 were fitted with the 120bhp standard k series engine.
A futher batch of 25? cars were produced with the VVC 156bhp version of the k series used in the 111S, I think these were late 2003 or 2004.
All these k series cars have twin yellow viper stripes over green paintwork.
More recently a new 2008 limited type 25 was released with the SC Toyota engine. These cars have a single stripe and white roundall on the doors.
And before all of the above Lotus produced a very limited edition of 1 car in 2001 with a single yellow stripe over green as a development car for the proposed colour scheme/interior. This car also has the standard 120bhp engine.

There was also a VERY limited number of Type 25s (and Type 23s) produced in "Sport 111" guise, which was basically an export version of your 135R, for the Asia/Australasia market where the 135bhp tuned standard engine didn't meet emissions regulations.
We got one of each in NZ. I don't know of any more, but it's possible there may be a couple more in Oz and Hong Kong / Singapore / Japan.
They were the same track-focussed spec as the 135R but instead of having the 135bhp tuned standard K they had the stock 156bhp 111S engine.

There were also some un-numbered 120 BHP left hand drive cars produced for the European market. They had the plaque to go on the dash but instead of a sequence number the buyer could have their name engraved on it.Gassing Station | Elise/Exige/Europa/340R | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
