Rotational Squeek

Hi Guys,
I have started doing a lot more miles in my S2 2002 Elise.

Now a new noise has started. It is a rotational squeek coming from what seems to be the wheels. I have drivin with the brakes on hard to see if it is related to the brakes but the squeek is still there even though the brakes are on.

Have you any ideas what it could be?

It depends on what sort of squeak it is? Presumably it's constant?
It could be the CV joint? Possibly a brake caliper locked on?

Its stopped now... Its not the breaks as I drove with them pressed quite heavily and was the same tone.

Next time I hear it I will put the clutch in to rule out an engine type fault.
