ah makes me want to do another road trip before the weather really gives up...

Its Ireland, the area is the know as the Beara peninsula, the pass is Healys pass. They roads around there are unbeleivable. I really recommend it if you're ever over here. It was my first time on these specific roads, it won't be my last

Lovely looking road. Our climbs here in Switzerland are usually clinging to a rock-face and therefore the visibility is significantly reduced.

Well done on the 4:30 start. Going over a pass late Friday afternoon reminded me of why I start early, planning to get the bottom of the first one at sunrise. By 10.00am on a Sunday morning they are already getting a bit busy by which time I'm heading off home.
