Just wanted to share my 430 miles of heaven thumbup please ignore the dates on photos (bloody camera), this was on Saturday. Hope you enjoy.



Set off at 4.30am to get to here before there was any other traffic

Spent most of the morning acting the arse on the pass and the surrounding countryside

Its Ireland, the area is the know as the Beara peninsula, the pass is Healys pass. They roads around there are unbeleivable. I really recommend it if you're ever over here. It was my first time on these specific roads, it won't be my last biggrin

Lovely looking road. Our climbs here in Switzerland are usually clinging to a rock-face and therefore the visibility is significantly reduced.

Well done on the 4:30 start. Going over a pass late Friday afternoon reminded me of why I start early, planning to get the bottom of the first one at sunrise. By 10.00am on a Sunday morning they are already getting a bit busy by which time I'm heading off home.

Brings back memories of my circuit of Ireland last summer (see Ireland Forum) - very envious smile
