FYI - Goodwood Revival ITV4 8pm tonight

Yeah,it's a great day out, truly superb.Only a few years ago I was a Fireman at Chichester(Goodwood's nearest station)and we used to get to go to both the Festival of Speed and the Revival to cover both events in case of emergencies.I used to get paid for this and Goodwood also gave us free tickets and a packed lunch.
This we enjoyed for almost ten years before Lord March and his business chose to get their fire cover from a private source.I have some great memories of these days, one of which was when Rowan Atkinson wrote off a rather expensive Ferrari right in front of where I was standing,he's a great chap,he just laughed it off.Later he wandered over to our fire truck and chatted to us,he really is a top bloke. But yes both events are fab,if you have'nt been go!

Will have to attend one day, done one trackday at Goodwood it seems so much tighter driving it than it looked watching the racing.
