roughly how much it cost to buy one and get it fitted? am tempted
Larini charged £457,Inc postage to Westover Poole,I also had a new black rear Diffuser fitted which really sets the chrome pipes off which costs £300,so the costs of fitting the pipes was kind of lost in the scheme of things. You carn't take it with you as they say!Go on,get one, they are well worth the money...

I'm sure this has been covered a million times, but what are the merits of Larini vs Lotus Sports vs 2bular for a Toyota-engined car? Everyone seems to like theirs best. I will be getting one fitted early next year and would like the best I can really for fast road use.
Click on my profile and click VIDEOS, there's some comparisons in there of my old Larini exhausts.chevronb37 said:

It's down to preference of the exhaust note and price, really. Both are of great quality, I bought my Larini when we had a bulk-buy on 4 years ago and it's still going strong. One thing - if you're buying a Larini, order it via Elise-Shop rather than direct as it's usually quicker.
Many thanks, chaps. To be honest when the time comes, I would rather get the best I can and wait if my budget won't meet it initially. I will probably have to try and listen to them all, although that might take a while. Does Jim at 2bular do fitting as well? I'm pretty "special" when it comes to working on cars...

At some point this week, I should receive a phone call to book myself in to Formula 1 in the toon for the Larini! Bring on the noises!!
Test it out on the underpasses on the Central Motorway. You'll not be dissapointed
Larini had sent the wrong model first time, but it's there now! So now it's only going to happen on Thurs. The days will go slowly this week!

Oh my goodness! It's totally class! And there's me worried that the Sport wouldn't be loud enough! I LOVE THE CENTRAL MOTORWAY (2nd gear). And the tunnel near Central Station (1st gear) and the Cradlewell tunnel, (1st gear). And burbling around in low gears. And it has started to pop already, (just quietly for now but I'm sure it'll develop). Don't really get a flavour of the rasp until in a tunnel, but when you do, it's classic! Fortunately, you DO get a sense when standing behind. What a difference.
Yes indeedy, I'm chuffed. Diff character to the car, feels more responsive etc etc (ref all other Larini and new exhaust-based posts).
