to be approved by Lotus you need to use them on the wider motorsport rims
the fronts overhand a little on the standard narrow rims and are not ideal
so YES you *can* do it - but its not approved - you have an accident and they check with Lotus, Lotus will say "not approved" and they could wriggle out of paying
A048s are a road legal track tyre - unless you are doing lots of trackdays, then they are not worth it IMO ...on the road they will just wear out quicker and if you hit a big puddle on the motorway you can end up in the barrier from aquaplaning as many will attest too
im sure they will be others along shortly to tell you how theyve got away with running them all year round for years even in snow, and that 0.1sec advantage you get on the Sunday morning B road blat is worth having tyres that last 3000 miles LOL

Whether or not these particular ones physically fit or not is not that important as you can get them in a variety of sizes from any number of suppliers. Question is why do you want to fit them? Very compromised as a road tyre and on track on a stock S2 toe links would come under severe strain and the suspension would be pushed to it's limits with the extra dry grip.
What is it you want to achieve? For track a set of 888's are much cheaper and 99.9% of the 48s, for road AD07's would be better.

I think they will fit. Ive got the same width tyres as AO48s on my standard front wheels and they are fine.
If you havent got upgraded suspension or uprated toe links then you shouldnt do it. Unless you are planning on using the car on the track it is not a worthwhile upgrade. The tyres need to be fairly warm to give the grip they do and you arent likely to achieve that much on the road unless you are lucky enough to find a deserted stretch of country road.
