I've just been perusing the classifieds. Is it me, or are prices rising?... (and half the cars are sold!)

If they are then good. (the prices rising I mean wink)

Most seem to be going to Europe - sold one of ours to a German chap this summer who flew over and paid cash.

Best depreciation I've ever spent. Which had considerably more to do with luck than judgement.
I wonder what a good buy would be now? I think the exige 240 will be a good purchase in a few years time, and bizarrely perhaps a third-party cc'ed s/c'ed n/a exige - could be wrong, but it strikes me that most lotus owners could be considered
'enthusuasts', or at least know more about what's involved with there car than most - it's not an obvious choice for a non petrolhead. This could all be wishful thinking of course.

What would be the slow burner of choice today - say lose no more than
£4-5,000 in 4-5 years irrespective of purchase price?

The 2-11. They've slowed down on build, and there are only 60 odd in the UK anyway smile
