Bought some alloy wiper stalks over a year ago and thinking about fitting to my 03 S2, however how to fit is not ovious to me, the current plastic ones have a rubber boot which appears to be bonded on fairly close to the 'bend'. I seem to remember that the method is to saw off the current ones and just clamp the new ones on to the stumps, but it doesn't look like there will be enough room because of the 'boots'. Has anyone done this and can offer some instruction please?

Ive done it, simply chop the old ones off but leave yourself enough space to put the alloy ones over the top to clamp on. The rubber sleeve then slides over the top of your ally sticks
