Look out for coverage from Jake Humphrey's (BBC's F1 front man) first ever race in the Elise Trophy at Silverstone a few weeks ago.
Pre-race and quali will be covered during the build up to F1 qualifying on Sat, with the race being covered in the build up to the GP on Sun thumbup

LOL... well i wonder how much BBC spent to show us a 5 minute clip of someone trying to race... then to say get involved it really is that easy....

The race is being shown tomorrow. I just want to see how he puts a hole in the front of the Elise. Missed it on the day.

Perhaps you should have come along three weeks ago and found out for yourself instead of making ill-judged armchair comments? rolleyes

LOL..

What?

How was my statement ill-judged?

THe fact of the matter is that I'm sure a hell of lot of hard work went into preping the car, getting him up to the standard of being able to drive on a track and we saw all of a 2 minute summary..... i was left wondering if they gave more air time to his time with lewis in that slk?

Hopefully more will be made of it tomorrow?

Come and ask one of the hundred or so drivers that have made their race debuts in the series. It's not quite a five minute job but if you have a few quid put aside it's pretty straightforward stuff.

My point is that they could of shown more thats all?

Anyway who was at fault for him piling into the side of another car?

Prepping Humphries would be pretty boring TV for an F1 audience?

Regarding the fault thing - racing incident? st happens.
