Earplugs already...... and tbh its great
Discussion
I used earplugs for many years when riding bikes, and thought it would be so lovely to drive car and not need them
I mix it up, though. I have a bog standard S1 and so it only gets really loud if on long motorway journeys.
As I found when biking, the problem is when you get some petrol, or stop to eat.....you either leave them in and have problems talking, or remove them and get so much crap on them they can be a serious ear infection risk to put back in.
More an issue on the bike, though, with its 110 mile range.....

You're wimps the lot of you
.
With my wife, I've just driven our Exige 2,500 miles around Europe (south of France, Italy and through Swittzerland back over three(?) fab mountain passes) - no complaints about the car noises though she has used earplugs for a few years to quiet my snoring. My ears were ringing for a day or so though i have to admit!
The car ran faultlessly - it's now due a service - except for loosing the front number plate on day one to the french autoroute courtesy of a now deceased parrot or similar.
