Hi,
I'm looking for my first Elise and this one fits the bill. Has anyone any knowledge of it? The car was registered in my area so I'll check with my local dealer to see if any of the previous owners were their customers. It looks like the phone code is for Basildon area. Any forum members in that area?

Could be a bargain but check when the dampers were changed and any suspension work.
Cheaper Elises aren't always the bargains they appear as they can cost more to get into the same overall mechanical condition as an £8.5-£9K car.

I've been looking recently too, and lots of 8-9k cars haven't had any work done either!

Personally I don't care as if I get one, I'll be building an Elise Trophy car so it will all be coming off and better to save the cash and get geary wishbones and new dampers etc.

er. drifted off topic. I guess my point is that spec doesn't seem to have much to do with price. Nice looking car that I missed was at lower end and had engine mods etc that would have been perfect for me. Gutted I missed it.

Yea, the guy lost the V5 so registering it in Ireland is a problem now!

In your shoes I'd be looking for a cheap unloved car with a straight tub
