Rover K series expert, SE england

Hope you dont mind me posting here, but im looking for a garage really experienced with k series engines, located in the SE england, preferably near london.

I would post in the Rover forum, but it's a little busier here, and i imagined with the k series Elise's, that someone here might be able to recommend somewhere.

My 1.8 vvc engined rover coupe has just started showing early signs of HG failure, so i'm looking for a garage to replace the head gasket. But id rather get it seen to by someone that really knows there stuff with the vvc k series.

any recommendations would be great

You could also add Morland Jones in Hammersmith who are great, but I'd personally question whether you really need a Lotus expert for this. The actual engine is the same but the installation is quite different, and I would have thought someone who knew the car AND the engine would be a better bet. Surely all Rover soecialist/independents will know how to deal with a K series head gasket standing on their heads?

If you want it rebuilt and perhaps uprated to a meticulous standard I'd call Minister for their years of k series work. They developed the vhpd and r500 versions of the k for caterham the vhpd ended up in the mk1 exige among other loti.

I have dealt with them for years and they are fastidious to say the least. However they are full-on race engineers and not remotely cheap. But their work is first rate.
