Hi all,

Serial lurker on here : about one post every 2 years.....!!

But the time has come to poll your collective wisdom( or lack of :-) ) once again.

I've been offered the chance to get my ( rather shoddy looking ) seats reupholstered - before they disintegrate entirely.

So the question is : where? I rememeber reading ( a long time ago that Lotus themselves woudl do it.... )

I'd prefer a 'seat swap' arrangment - I'd hate to have to wait to drive the 'liz

Got mine done through Bell & Colvill, who send them on to Lotus for retrimming. You have to remove the seats yourself but they will loan you replacements until yours come back. Have a look at their website for all the different trim options.

Yep Lotus trim shop still do them via Lotus dealers.
The trim shop will do anything you can imagine - so don't be shy. Let your imagination run riot (my seats are very sober mind!).

B&C did mine & lent me some spares while the seats went back to the factory.

About £ 800.00 I think, including pro-bax lining.

Excellent service and the seats are far more comfortable.

If you don't mind dropping the motor off and getting the train, then these will take the seats out for you:
http://www.aldridge.co.uk/ and they will do a real triff job. They have done two of my past motors (TR7 & TR V8) back in the 90's and still do our works catering van seats.
They do Astons, Bentleys, Ferrari's you name it.
Highly recommend!thumbup

Or you could buy my refurbished seats, though you'll need the right coloured car. I'll be selling shortly after Christmas. Carbon and green leather. Refurbished at Lotus a couple of years ago and in perfect condition.
