Aftermarket head bolts and gaskets

Anyone have any experience (good or bad) or knowledge of aftermarket head bolts and head gaskets (either silicone or MLS)?
As far as I know, Payen supplied the OE bolts and gaskets and usually I'd stick with OE parts. That said, it's very tempting to save a lot by buying one of the many gasket/bolt kits on eBay but it would be a pain to have to do the job twice!
