2009 has been a b
h but it's going to end on a hell of a good note! I've got a new Exige and should have it before Christmas. Even better, it nearly matches my girlfriend's red hair so I'm going to have to get her driving it every so often, superb combination

Massive, massive thanks to Parky @ Lipscomb for making this one possible!!!!

Hang in there chap. Material goods are the only option to cheer me up right now - the fundamental problems that have made me so unhappy the past few years aren't going to get solved by throwing money at the problem, regardless of how much money I can scrape together. A new car is the closest I can get really, given that trashing my old car just after the second failed IVF in 2009 wasn't exactly the best thing to happen. Nothing can change the medical reality, but this superb new car, having 2010 off from all our hopes and getting back to basics, having fun, more trackdays, more quality time together... hopefully this will both save my relationship and get things back on track... hope you're not quite as much on the edge as I am... if so, get as much help as you can... I've had 2 suicide attempts so far and that's not pretty, things have to change and by f

Good crimbo present. Now that looks like a 2010 car, which must mean you've spent a bit more than your budget, and gotten yourself a bit of a deal!?
Parky looked after me, but yes you're right, my budget well and truly out of the window. In spectacular style, which is pretty much par for the course with me... Impulsive, impetuous, passionate, hell I'm the worst aspect of all these adjectives and it's always got me into trouble. But given that I'm not going to get rid of this car unless either it gets stolen, I stack it, or my company goes bankrupt (looking OK in terms of demand in my industry for all 2010 so far), I'm reasonably comfortable...The best thing is that no mods are required other than the obligatory 2bular, which should be standard on all Lotuses IMO. I'd like to do the removable steering wheel but I'll have to wait on that one for the time being.
Not sure if you remember my other half from the time we met at the Woodman, but it's funny how the car that I end up with is effectively a ginger Exige and not far off the colour of my GF's hair. I love it
