Just a quick one to confirm all the S2 Elise based cars from Lotus (except the Europa) have 4 channel ABS and 16" front wheels?

Want to upgrade the VX to 4 channel and so confirm that any "S2" ABS ECU that comes from a Lotus dealer is 4 Channel for 16" fronts. Bell & Co only list one part number so I assume so but want to be 100%

Thanks, yes I'll be organising the group buy so I want to be 110% on what I'm offering. The Elise / Exige unit that is the same across the board should :-

1. Be calibrated for 16" fronts oppose the 17" stock VX wheels
2. Activate 4 channel ABS oppose the 2 channel stock VX system so ridding the VX of the horrid one tyre looses a bit of grip on a bump so the opposite side tyre with perfect grip also gets released trait.

Hi Heran

I have checked in every way I can with my garage and I believe what you are doing is correct. Certainly all the pin outs match (I have been through the wiring diagrams). The new ABS ECU does have some extra outputs for feeding wheel speeds into the engine ECU which could be very useful if you wanted to run traction control on the car.

Without the support of the manufacturer it is always a bit of a step in the dark but we whould be ok.

Updated part, so no issue? or I've modified my brakes so premium up? Hard call, all it really is is an updated part i'm inclined to not mention it, its an OEM Lotus part like the one that its been swapped for, physically it looks identical just the part number is different. Do people declare different brake pads?
