Signed, what a joke Bournemouth council are, from the planning department and Imaxgate, to forcing shoppers out of the town centre through their new parking meters, to shoving more traffic onto Cemetery Junction by closing traffic through Meyrick Park, to the coucillors who we're paying to watch porn. Spineless pr*cks the lot of them!
The wessex way is infuriating now.
Early yesterday (Sunday), late for the 9am ferry had a couple of morons sat in the outside lane with nothing on the inside doing 30mph. I was in the poonjero with the bikes on the back, I flashed politely, then again. I thought "morons" and beeped politely. They were not going to move. I lent on the horn. The stayed on the outside on the roundabout so i went up the inside. They were shouting and swearing at me like I was Satan himself. I didn't go fast, it wasn't eratic (there was £10k of bikes on the back!). It was actually hard to go slower then them ....
Whatever the speed limit the morons will still be morons.
The Wessex way is a fast road, it was designed a fast road so instead of re designing the one bad on ramp, it is easier to treat it as a cash machine and lower the limits till it is a joke. There are no cycles allowed, there are no pedestrians, so why the sill limit?

Did you realise they are also planning to reduce the whole Dorset Way from Tower Park/Canford Heath roundabout to the Holes Bay roundabout to 40 and 50 in various zones?
Like the Wessex Way, there are no residential roads leading off and are full dual carriageway standard, so 70mph. It can't be that much of an accident blackspot, otherwise a scamera or two would have appeared?
