Recommend me an outdoor cover
Discussion
My poor S1 Elise has to sit on the drive due to the ammount of rubbish in my garage!
I purchased a cover for my Merc which was "breathable" but I think that was another phrase for "crap fabric" as its rubbish. I'd like something waterproof and fairly easy to take on and off and that is not going to be blown off by the smallest of breezes!
Any suggestions?

As far as I know fully waterproof won't be breathable - it's normal for a breathable cover to eventually get saturated on the top of the car (which will mean the paint on roof/bonnet/bootlid will get slightly damp). However, good covers will dry out very quickly and they still keep the car effectively dry.I purchased a cover for my Merc which was "breathable" but I think that was another phrase for "crap fabric" as its rubbish. Get a tailored cover with pockets for the mirrors - they make the car look like it has ears but they help keep the cover on during windy weather!
