Hi all,

A couple of days ago my malfunction indicator lamp came on (constant, not flashing) though there was no obvious cause in terms of the way the car drove. This afternoon I started the car up and the light wasn't on so I took it for a drive, as I was driving home and pulled into my road the light started to flash and power was cut and it felt and sounded like it'd started to misfire. I reset the TPS and now the engine runs and pulls fine again but the light is back on constantly. Is the TPS on it's way out or could it be something else? It's a S2 111S

The car hasn't had any work done on it recently of any kind and I'm doing a London Dawn Run next weekend so would like a fit car!

Cheers!

At the risk of stating the obvious you need a code reader to establish what the fault is.

Yeah, need to get on ebay to pick one up, sounds like an essential tool in any Lotus owners toolbox! I'm just hoping that whatever it is it's easily and cheaply fixed.
