2010 R White editon simply stunning

Well after a week searching found my perfect car. I was a bit apprehensive buying a brand new car but when I saw it I knew it was the right choice. White edition R full touring, sport pack, full alcantera on seats doors , dash , gear tunnell, traction, hardtop . Black forged alloys..took it out for a spin and it was nothing like the vx220 I used to have build quality was up there with boxsters no squeaks or rattles the hard top worked very well. and the handling Jesus never experienced anything like it razor sharp but compliant how does lotus do it.. Also the engine was very smooth much better than other R's I had tested maybe the 2010 cars havevhad the motorsport ecu as STD.. Anyway thx for the advice on the forum.. I'm over the moon with my first elise. Can't wait to pick her up next wednesday.

Although not in the same league as yours I picked up my first lotus this weekend (S2) and have to say I agree with your comments regarding the VX220.

The lotus feels so much tighter and responsive than my VX ever did, the VX always felt as though it had a lot of slack in all the major controls compared to the Lotus.. All the best and I hope you enjoy it when you pick it up.

Edited to add: The damping (imo) is so much better in the lotus vs. the 220 as well. It really is a revelation!

Defo no comparison with the vx220 and in White with the tri stripes it looks the nuts.. The black forged wheels just set the whole car off.. Really pleased with it and can't wait to pick get up from dick lovett on wednesday.. Will post some pics of it...
