Reasons to be cheerful...................
Discussion
Due to various family and work commitments since the beginning of the year I have been using the Family hack (Mondeo) and my MX5. The Mondeo is not too bad (that 2.2 TDCI engine has got reasonable torque) and the MX5 is a load of fun. It's super (charged) and runs about 200bhp! It is a lot of fun and not short of speed.
Today I took the Lotus for a long drive. Nowhere special but just for the fun of it and I instantly regretted not doing so MUCH sooner this year. It reminded me of just what a fantastic car it is. Direct and nimble it managed to make the MX5 feel like a barge (and that alone is no mean feat).
I've moved the Lotus to the top of the drive and it's staying there now to make sure that it gets used properly. My only regret is that I will not be able to get to the Lotus Festival at Snetterton this year as it looks like a fantastic line up.
Thats it. As you were.............now where did I put those keys..??

Hadn't driven mine for about a month earlier in the year, was driving my 350z instead. I still distinctly remember getting back in it with the roof off, I'd driven no more than a 100 meters or so off the driveway to realise that I'd been a fool to leave it so long and a half hour drive turned into a half day. My God it felt good.
