Going by your other thread it sounds like you're decided to up the ante and go for an S
I don't know the car but going by what you've already posted and looking at the spec list this seems to be pretty much what you're looking for. I personally quite like it when the owner takes some time out to advertise it properly with a detailed listing of what's included and the service history rather than just the basics, you can get a good feeling of what to expect before you see the car in the flesh. If it's local to you take a look, but if you can get to see a few cars at a dealer's first it'd give you a good feeling for the differences in condition relative to age and use.
Either way, it seems to me that if you settle for an NA Exige you'd always be wondering 'what if?'

Hey Cardshark - you are absolutely correct!
I thought for the sake of a few thousand its not worth the compromise. I am sure an NA would be sufficient but I know how easily I get bored! LOL
It looks good and I like the fact they have written it up correctly too - nice to see the extras - an elise top is a 100% have to have for me and it saves me the £400 to do it!
Its not local hence my post - if nothing negative comes back I shall be going to see it in a few weeks when back from a business trip. If its still around, its fate telling me she is mine! HAHA

Think that car might have been sold following comments on another Lotus forum but worth a quick call to check.
Think you've made the right choice going for an S. If it's predominantly road use and you want straight line grunt then an NA isn't going to do what you really want. Also you can boost an S to 260 for a couple of grand very easily in the future.

You can get various stages of loud
Larini do the Sport(loud) and ClubSport(very loud) and with 2bular there are three or four different sized silencers that range from track friendly(quiet but still fruity) to very loud.
Generally the smaller the silencer(eg 6" x 22")the louder it is.
It really depends though on what you class as 'too noisy' and if you do trackdays in the UK,i have a Larini Sport which i absolutely adore but a mate with another Elise says its too noisy for him.Horses for courses as they say
Have a look on youtube for videos of Larinis and 2bulars on an S.
